WartaSAJ ||In order to accelerate the use of digital libraries, the Principal of Santo Arnoldus Janssen Kupang High School signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Head of UPT of Widya Mandira Kupang Catholic University Library (Unika Kupang). The signing was carried out at the Unika Library, Matani-Penfui. Several teachers from Santo Arnoldus Janssen Kupang High School, Unika library administrators and staff from the Unika cooperation office, also attended this activity.
In his speech, the Head of the UPT Library, Mr. Hendra, said that the collaboration would encourage students’ interest in reading at school. The presence of this digital library will likely have an impact on students’ literacy enthusiasm and will also be an important point for Unika libraries in the accreditation process later. Furthermore, Father Aris, Principal of Santo Arnoldus Janssen Kupang High School, in his speech welcomed this collaboration. He emphasized that what has been started must be carried out seriously. Santo Arnoldus Janssen High School is very serious about improving literacy and numeracy. SVD schools must be schools that love books and this was started by its founder Saint Arnold Janssen.
